KRYSTOL WATERSTOP SYSTEM
The next phase in construction joint design, the Krystol Waterstop SystemTM ensures that your concrete waterproofing doesn't slip through the cracks - or the construction joints.
The Krystol Waterstop System utilizes two products rich in crystalline chemical reactive technology, Krystol Waterstop GroutTM and Krystol Waterstop TreatmentTM, both featuring a distinctive colored tint that makes them easy to identify and inspect.
The system is quick and easy to install. A triangle-shaped strip of Krystol Waterstop Grout is added at the site where a new wall is to be poured. Once the grout has cured, a layer of Krystol Waterstop Treatment is applied, and the wall can be poured as normal.
The Krystol Waterstop System is more reliable and durable than old-fashioned bentonite, PVC or swellable urethane joint designs. These joint design systems frequently shift or become damaged during concrete pours. And they deteriorate over time, leaving joints unprotected. The Krystol Waterstop System is virtually impossible to damage during construction.
By reducing the requirement for skilled trades, this crystalline concrete joint design system saves up to 50% of the cost of an installed PVC or bentonite joint design system. It bonds naturally to freshly poured concrete and adapts to curved or uneven surfaces for maximum design flexibility. And since it's easy to retrofit, the Krystol Waterstop System comes to the rescue when other joint sealing or filling systems fail.
The Krystol Waterstop System provides two levels of protection: an integral crystalline waterproofing barrier, plus a physical grout barrier with a compressive strength greater than most structural concretes.
Used in conjunction with the Krystol Waterproofing AdmixtureTM or the Krystol Crack Repair & Surface Applied SystemTM, the Krystol Waterstop System provides a permanent, watertight seal. And, like the entire Krystol system, it's fully guaranteed.
